I have to start this blog post with an apology, because it has been far too long since I last posted. My silence is not without reason, however, but because I have been super busy preparing to open the doors to All for Love's first little flower shop. The 'Pop Up Shop', which is located along the Chiswick riverside is a collaboration between All for Love and Hammond's Butchers and Delicatessen of Kew. The Hammond's side offers beautiful, fresh, seasonal, British fruit and vegetables as well as a selection of delicious and locally sourced produce such as premium honey and artisan chocolate. Then of course, my side provides all the beautiful flowers and plants. Such a fresh, beautiful pairing of all things lovely and natural.
The shop premises itself was the original Hammond's butchers and, according to the locals, has always been a butchers, they think for well over 100 years....or for as long as they can all remember anyway! Whilst re-decorating the place, I tried to keep as many of the original features as possible-- including the Butcher's block (which is now my floristry bench)! I also have lavender hanging from the old meat hooks, as well as my english hydrangea and eucalyptus bunches that I am drying out ready to use come Christmas Wreath making time! I bet they have never looked so pretty!
We will always keep a beautiful selection of fresh flowers in store for all your walk-in-bouquet needs, however pre-orders are probably the best way to go if you would like to order a larger bouquet or want something more specific. We offer both London wide and national delivery, so no place is too far! Just ask me for more details in store and I'll be delighted to help.
All for Love, London are so delighted to have this wonderful opportunity to open up our first retail space to the public along the beautiful Chiswick riverside and I can't wait to get to know everyone in the community. We have all sorts of exciting plans for the next few months and especially in the run up to Christmas, so watch this space!
