Emily & Tim's Big Day

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of providing the lovely Emily and Tim with their wedding flowers. This beautiful couple got married in the chocolate box village of Alfriston, near Eastbourne, where they both grew up. This little picturesque, medieval village could not have been a more wonderful backdrop for a wedding! The sun was out and shining too, which of course made the day even more picture perfect!

Right from the start Emily had been really clear that she wanted a natural, loose and kind of meadowy-garden look for her bridal flowers. She didn’t want anything too formal or structured and wanted to have a mix of colours. Ranging from pale pinks through to the blue of the cornflower, we went through the pinky-purpley colour palette and she selected all of her favourite flowers from the mix.

The final results were beautiful bouquets made from a combination of lovely, seasonal and scented flowers. From soft blue Forget Me Nots and Nigella, to lilac and mid-pink Sweet Peas, pale pink Stocks and Phlox, lacy Cow Parsley and bolder blue Cornflowers, the bouquets were a delicious mix of intricacy and softness that blended together beautifully in colour and tone.

Below are a few snaps from the day for you to enjoy. We wish Emily and Tim all the very best for a lifetime of happiness together. Thank you for letting us be apart of your big day! xxx
